My good friend Jhul of The 5th Atelier commissioned me to paint his beloved sdFrei, and I’m so happy he trusted me enough to do it. It was my first time adding freckles~ x) Thanks, Jhul!!! ♥

If someone asks me what my favorite doll clothes shop is, I would say “FoxyBrowny!” in a heartbeat. Their clothing fits the mori girl aesthetic, with their use of natural color palettes and fabrics mixed with a light and carefree style. I love how effortlessly pretty the clothes are.

Theme Thursday: Mori Girls
I am completely enamored by the lifestyle and fashion of this Japanese  subculture. The lightness and free-spiritedness they embody really speak  to me, and the juxtaposition of the softness of the colors and floral  motifs to the ruggedness of layering and tattered fabrics in their  fashions tickle my fancy. I also find it interesting and relatable that  mori girls are commonly pictured as geeks and artists, often with a book  or camera in hand.
